Here we have 1 rare and highly sought-after Ercol Extension designed by Lucian Ercolani between 1953 and 1967.<\/p>\n

It was created to be a removable extension for Ercol’s range of utility dining tables. Made after the Second World War, these classic three-legged tables are constructed entirely from solid English Elm and Beech, boasting Ercol’s signature high-quality materials and build quality. Although they were designed as an accompaniment to dining tables, they were not produced in large numbers, making them hard to find today.<\/p>\n

This rare earlier Ercol plank side table was designed to extend the smaller standard plank top dining tables, and with the extension, they could increase the seating area from 4 to 8 They were made of solid Elm and were produced by Ercol in the 1940s and 1950s. The timeless design of these side tables makes them a perfect piece to extend your dining table or for use as a stand-alone table or corner desk. They are a great way to add a touch of retro into your home, and the natural wood tones of the Elm top, enhanced by years of use, give the tables a wonderful warm vintage look and feel that is perfect for any home.<\/p>\n
