Together with Dom Hans van der Laan, de Jong who started out as Dom Hans&#8217; student, stood at the beginning of the architectural movement in which it was common to design furniture and bespoke interior features specifically for a building . This table is designed according to &#8216;het plastische getal&#8217; (plastic number) which was invented by Dom Hans van der Laan.
