PJ-149 Colonial chair, 1949<\/p>\n

A fine pair of Ole Wanscher’s most iconic design: The colonial chair. Produced by Poul Jeppesen in Denmark circa 1950s in exquisite Brazilian rosewood with original woven rattan cane seat and feather cushions covered in new pale linen fabric.<\/p>\n

The colonial chair was Wanscher’s homage to American Colonial & Shaker furniture of the 18th and 19th century and remains one of the key pieces of Danish modern design history.<\/p>\n

Measures: H 84cm, D 65cm, W 68cm, SH 41cm.<\/span><\/p>\n
