Elegant “Senior” sofa designed by Marzo Zanuso for Arflex in Italy, 1951.
\nThis sofa has been restored, it has been upholstered in a precious light green velvet from the prestigious brand Pierre Frey Paris.
\nFoam and straps have been replaced.
\nBrass feet with original period patina.

\n In the late 1940s Zanuso began collaborating with the Italian manufacturer Arflex, to create a furniture collection based on the use of cutting-edge materials such as foam rubber and elastic tape. Guided by the idea that these materials should influence the resulting shape, Zanuso designs a series of products for Arflex that will become icons of modernism.<\/span><\/p>\n
