Vintage Design
A rare and beautiful high dining or centre table attributed to a design by Ico Parisi and made in Italy 1950. This fantastic shaped and well-crafted dining table has a beautiful solid mahogany base, which is very similar to some other designs by Parisi. However, we have not found this specific table in a publication yet. The craftsmanship of the base is of high standards. And also, the top, which is completely laid in as a star patten, its truly magnificent, like a work of art. This attests to spectacular carpentry skills, which not everybody could normally do. The table is in fully original condition, with minor wear from age and usage. The top is hollow constructed like many Italian designs were in the 1950s to avoid using too many materials. The top has a slight bend in it but it’s not directly noticeable. The table has a nice size for a kitchen table for example or could also be a cards table.
