Vintage Design
Striking set of 6 plywood dining chairs designed by Enzo Strada and manufactured by Mobili Barovero, Italy 1950. These chairs have a very nice and dynamic shape. They are nice sized and the higher back provides a lot of comfort. The black painted frames are made of tubular metal, bent into an amazing form, to support the seat but also provide stability of the chair. The shape is very unusual as the constructional frame also brings balance to the aesthetics of the chairs. The frames are all finished with plastic feet to protect the floor. The frames are in very good condition and the teak plywood seats are in good original condition with slight patina. The seats are connected to the frames with nuts and bolts which are black finished to match the whole.
