Vintage Design
Exquisite piece of Dutch design, this model 020 chair designed by Bruno Ninaber van Eyben which was manufactured by Artifort, The Netherlands 1977. This ingenious design was based on connections, balance, and construction. It is one of the most technical designed chairs together with the Zig Zag chair by Gerrit Rietveld, if you ask me. This chair consists of only 3 parts of (ply)wood, puzzled together into a chair. The round stick in the middle does not only connect the seat part and the back part, but it also provides the strength to make it a sturdy usable chair.
