Vintage Design
Very elegant set of 6 ‘model 422’ dining chairs designed by Arne Vodder and manufactured by Sibast mobler, Denmark 1960. These dining chairs have a high spine back which is very nicely crafted in a way only the Danish could. The back is slightly curved which gives additional seating pleasure and also aesthetically this is very visually appealing. Because the back is constructed of spines, it gives it an open look and they also provide additional comfort. The chairs are made of solid teak wood which has a very nice honey colour, and this is still in very good original condition. It has a gentle patina from use but this adds character to the chairs. All chairs are marked with the metal Sibast Mobler tag underneath the seats. The original soft green upholstery is still in a good condition but could be changed upon request. The chairs are sold in a set of 6.
