Signed Original Caged Art Glass Bowl by Anthony Stern

Here is a gorgeous original art glass bowl that was made, and is signed, by Anthony Stern. The bowl has a technique that was made famous by Felipe Delfinger, where a metal piece with cut-out details “cages” the glass forming shapes in the cut-outs. This particular bowl employs this artistic detail on the base with a silvery-gold metal piece. The glass itself has an iridescent quality and gets pinkish at the bottom, on the outside, but is a bright, deep pink when looking inside. The glass has a bit of texture and a “ribbed” detail around the edge. It looks like a special, hand-made piece – not just an average bowl. It is signed on the bottom.
