A matched set of four Michel Cadestin and Georges Laurent leather and metal Beaubourg chairs, from the Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris. These chairs were designed in 1976 for the competition to determine which chairs would be used in the Pompidou Centre. Jean Prouvé was the head of the committee that ultimately chose this winning model. Dimensions Of chairs vary.
Structurally sound. General marks, scratches, scuffs, spotting, oxidation and wear. With fading, staining, scars and compression to leather elements as visible in catalogue photos. Securing rivets coming through leather as visible in photos.
