Vintage Design
Pair of Fiberglass Pod lounge chairs by the Italian designer Mario Sabot (Udine, 1969). The incredible design of these two lounge chairs was inspired by the GT series of Ferrari during the 1960s. At the same time, vintage and futuristic, these wonderful design furniture pieces featured also in a James Bond movie. The POD chairs have been fully restored as original, the fibreglass bodies have been sandblasted as they were repainted and lacquered in cream white. The seats are reupholstered in a stunning Jim Thompson fabric that ia also suitable for outdoor use. The shells are repainted and the seats reupholstered.
