A fine pair of Ole Wanscher’s most iconic design: The colonial chair. Produced by Poul Jeppesen in Denmark circa 1950s in exquisite Brazilian rosewood with original woven rattan cane seat and feather cushions covered in new pale linen fabric.
The colonial chair was Wanscher’s homage to American Colonial & Shaker furniture of the 18th and 19th century and remains one of the key pieces of Danish modern design history.
