Designed in 1963 and manufactured by Kartell, Italy, Joe Colombo’s iconic 4801 “interlocking” armchair consists only of three bent pressed plywood parts that are assembled without glue. A modern chair with striking visual appeal by the master of Italian Space Age design. Only a limited number of wooden 4801 chairs were produced in the 1960s.
