Vintage Design
Egg Garden Chair for a draft of Peter Ghyczy from the 60s.
A design classic of the 60s. The egg-shaped folding armchair, also known as Senftenberg egg. The name refers to the basic shape in the folded state.
The middle part is hinged and releases a seat shell inside. The lid serves as a backrest at the same time. Inside there is a coherent seating and back pad, which is held with snaps in the shell. The armchair is painted brilliantly red. On the back, the body forms a recess which serves as a handle.
The chair is in very good condition with signs of wear. The cover was renewed by a padder.
