Lisa Johansson-Pape was a Finnish designer renowned for her clean, simple, and, most importantly, functional lighting designs. Her “Onion” lamp, made of matte opaline glass which concealed the bulb and provided attractive, glare-free lighting, is a stunning example of her work. Lisa Johansson-Pape’s lamps won awards at the Milan Triennale in 1951 and 1954. In good condition with wear appropriate to age and use.
