Iconic tubular steel chair model S 64, designed by Marcel Breuer for Thonet in 1928. The frame is made of chromed tubular steel. The seat and backrest are covered with the “Viennese Wickerwork” on a beech frame. This chair was produced in 1982 and has a stamp underneath the seat.
The seat and backrest have new caning. The frame is very clean. The black lacquered beech frame show normal signs of rubbing, in accordance with the age of the chair.
It was previously used at a desk but can also be added to a set of dining chairs.
