Vintage Design
A unique piece of furniture in every way, this counter cabinet was made and designed by Studio Cassina, Italy 1960s. This cabinet comes from the official Cassina guest house in Brescia and was designed as a film projector cabinet in the home cinema room of the guest house. This unique piece was designed and made by the studio Cassina for own use. There is only 1 of these in the entire world which makes this a very special piece for someone who wants something unique. It clearly has influences from Gianfranco Frattini who was possibly a part of the idea, as he worked a lot for Cassina in that perio, but also Carlo Scarpa designed pieces in this style. Either way an amazing large almost magic box. It has drawers on all sides, and there are 2 storage compartments which have a grid shaped front which is attached with magnets. The piece features a fantastic shaped graphic inlayed rosewood pattern, fully symmetrical. The woodworking skills on this piece are amazing. The inside parts of the drawers and compartments are in white laminate.
