Industrial Congresso Bookcase in Red Steel by Lips Vago, 1960s

Lips Vago, an Italian company founded in the mid-20th century when the Italian blacksmith company Vago merged with Dutch locker company Lips. They were renowned for their innovative metal furniture with a strong reputation for producing durable, industrial-style pieces that combine practicality with modern design. The company’s designs, including this bookcase, are highly regarded for their robust construction and ability to blend into various interior settings, from residential to commercial spaces.
