Vintage Design
This authentic German kitchen wall cabinet features a set of 16 iconic kitchen-chutes from the so-called ‘Frankfurter Küche’. The Austrian architect Margarete Schütte-Lihotzky designed the groundbreaking concept of the modern kitchen in 1926 for Ernst May’s social housing project ‘Neues Frankfurt’ in Frankfurt, Germany. These aluminium kitchen-chutes were manufactured by Haarer in Hanau during the 1950s. The melamine coated wall cupboard features 16 integrated compartments. It has 2 suspension hooks and a removable door.
