French Provincial Sideboard in Pine, Mid-19th Century

19th mid-century French cabinet buffet. Three doors and three drawers solid pine. The very long life of this piece of furniture led it to undergo a restoration that has restored all its original charm. A few parts have been changed, including the legs (see last photos). The drawer handles are not from the same period as the furniture, but they were changed a long time ago. Two doors lock, but the key on the left door has been transformed into a handle. An amusing detail: the central door has two keyways, one of which is a fake. It was not uncommon to find this kind of curiosity on furniture from this period.
