Circa 1900 Italian Painted & Lacquered Playing Card Box

Rare and very charming Italian hand crafted playing card case painted in Venetian red with miniature cards lacquered on in the ‘lacca povera’ style, similar to decoupage. The cards displayed as all good poker hands including, Royal Flush, Straight, Full House, 4 of a Kind, 2 Pair, 3 of a Kind, etc.
A wonderful decorative piece or great gift for that special poker player.
Holds two decks.
