Vintage Design
Amazing brutalist shaped coffee table made in France 1960s. Tis stunning sculpted, diabolo shaped coffee table, has a solid oak base. The base consists of different parts of solid oak wood, glued together and sculpted into this beautiful diabolo shape. The different colours of the oak pieces give the piece a different dimension and more character. The base is made of solid oak pieces and therefor pretty heavy. The top is made of beautiful white Carrara marble which is known for its deep white colour and grey veins running through. This table has similarities to designs by Axel Einar Hjorth, but also to some designs by Wendel Castle.
