The so-called Barcelona Coffee Table by Knoll International was originally designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe not for the German Pavilion in Barcelona, but in 1929 years for the Villa Tugendhat in Brno.
However, the coffee table was used by himself repeatedly in combination with the Barcelona armchair (and with the Tugendhat armchair), which later derived the name of the glass table.
