Vintage Design
Highly elegant armchair designed by Carlo Ratti and manufactured by Industria Legni Curvati, Italy 1950s. These visually appealing armchairs have a very nice and extraordinary shaped teak plywood seat. Besides the fact that the seat looks beautiful, it seats also very nice and because everything is round and organic, it feels very nice too. The chairs have a tubular metal frame with 4 feet which spread out towards the floor. The frames are finished in a matt black paint. The feet on the frames are finished with round metal toes to prevent scratching on floors. The spread-out feet give a very nice dynamic shape to the design of the chair and provides stability to the chairs as well. The curved seats are also a strong and nice contrast with the straight frames. The chairs have very nice brass details on the side of the arms, there are 2 big brass knobs on each side. The chairs are in a very good original condition and preserves a nice patina, this only gives them more character. There are no big damages or cracks to the chairs.
