This pretty coffee and tea set stands out for its geometric design of the early 20th century. The silver marks identify it as a German piece with a millesimal fineness of 835.

Silver coffee and tea set, Belgium 19th century
The design of this beautiful coffee and tea set is inspired by the 18th century French Regence style. The pear shaped pieces are decorated with fine latticework. The coffee, tea and milk pot have nicely carved black handles. The spout of the coffee pot has a very pretty decor with a volute motif at its end, the same spout and motif decorates the cream pot.
The set is very decorative and could embellish your coffee table or side board. All pieces are marked.

The pear shaped elegant coffee and tea set has beautiful repoussé details. The rim of the pots and sugar bowl are decorated with a laurel leave garland. At the base of the c-shaped handles are acanthus leaves. The knobs on the lids are mimicking grapes. The set weighs 49.63 ounces (1,407 g). It is in very good condition. The cream pot has a small dent. The tea pot measures H: 5.9 inches, W: 8 inches, L: 5.9 inches.
