This is a rare original pair of Italian wall lights model LP10 designed by Luigi Caccia Dominioni and produced by Azucena Editor in the 1960s and 1970s. These are early 1960s examples, engraved in the back . The structure is made of solid brass, with a large opaline glass globe holded by brass screws. They are truly elegant and timeless Italian pieces. They can be installed globes down or globes up. They have been fully restored, socket replaced for E26 one, electrified with an apparent off-white cotton cable. This massive Hollywood Regency light fixture is an extraordinary piece due to the finesse of its work and its size. The lighting is located in the flowers by an ingenious screw system which leaves room for a small bulb. 6 lights in total for this wall light. The gold leaf metal and white lacquered flowers in the spirit of the famous designer Hans Kögl. Work from the 70s.

Crafted by hand, this is a pair of wall sconces. They are comprised of hand painted white faux alabaster marbled bowl shaped glass slip shades and metal bronze toned wall brackets inspired by wall hung handled medieval torches. These 1940s reproduction baroque inspired lighting fixtures conjure simultaneous but multiple design cues. They are partly art nouveau, and conjure a touch of Basque, and a feeling of medieval castle and certainly ideally suited for Mission style home with craftsman architecture. It’s versatile design scheme renders an eclectic understated elegance that has an antique quality and a forever style which is perfect for numerous motifs. This pair of wall lights were recently obtained from a Craftsman style home in Pasadena California where they had hung since 1946. The sconces are hard wired. No makers mark discoverable. This very large and beautiful leaf sconce is a real statement piece. There are 7 handcrafted curved gilt stems decorated fully with gilt leaves.

With stylized leaf decoration, the wall piece is illuminated by nine lights discretely hidden in the back, casting a gentle light with a warm tone from the gold gilt.

This sconce makes an ideal feature piece for a traditional or contemporary interior, perhaps over a sofa, fireplace, bed or any wall. This gold colored piece is all metal and measures 52″ across by 32″ tall with a depth of up to 8″.

This sconce uses 9 small base candelabra bulbs for back lighting. In very good cosmetic and working condition and showing slight patina. Handcrafted in Italy for Hans Kogl.

Very beautiful with a burnished gold/brass finish.
