Very nice and rare set of nesting tables designed by Martin Visser for ‘t Spectrym Bergeyk, Holland 1956. These tables are called Twello and they exist in different editions. These have a wenge wooden edge and white formica tops. The frames are made of black lacquered solid metal. The tables are in good original condition with minimal wear to the corners and edges. Very nice set of rare modernist nesting tables.

The table tops were restored and sealed with a satin finish. Correspondingly pleasant feel. Here are the dimensions: Largest table: approx. 48 x 62 x 35cm, medium table: approx. 46.5 x 47 x 34cm, small table: approx. 44.5 x 35 x 31cm (height, width, depth).

Set of three Danish Mid-Century Modern Model No. 15 nesting tables designed by Danish architect Erling Torvits in 1956. Frames in solid teak with tapered rounded legs. Smallest table has a shelf with original woven cane. Table tops in teak veneer. Can be used together or as individual side tables.

Stamped with makers mark and Danish Furnituremakers Control.

A set of four French Art Nouveau nesting tables by Emile Gallé decorated with fruitwood marquetry in a motif of carlile thistle and butterflies. Each table represents a different stage of growth, with the smallest table showing the newly budded thistles. This model has particularly ornate carving in the aprons of each table. This ornament as well as the exceptional marquetry scenes on the table tops make this model of nesting tables the best that Gallé ever offered. Made in 1900-1905 and each table is signed by Gallé in inlaid marquetry.
