Vintage mid century chair set recovered in chocolate brown wool fabric sized in comfortable proportions.

Rare and beautifully designed ‘hunting chair’ and ottoman. No makers mark or attribution to be found anywhere, but looks identical in form and construction to a chair by Uno and Osten Kristiansson.
Solid fumed white oak frame. Braided cushion supports appear as new. Cushions are recently reupholstered in charcoal wool. Wooden frame has some discolorations and scuffing commensurate with age, but chair and ottoman both present very well and all joints are structurally sound.

This Chair and Ottoman are lovingly referred to as “Big Mama”, the Serie Up 5/6 aka 2000 – Ottoman is attached & is 57x57x57 inches.
