This vintage modular wooden bookcase was designed by Ico Parisi for Italian manufacturer MIM, in the 50’s. The wooden bookcase is called Lerici and published on Ico Parisi’s book and on Domus. It is made entirely of wood and is composed of two modules that through their knurls fit together perfectly. There are 6 drawers, a taller cabinet and a lower chest of drawers, in addition to 3 shelves. There are 6 round feet on all sides, made of brass in first patina, which allow the extension and fixing to the ceiling. This original and beautiful bookcase would be a fitting addition to elegant and important living rooms and offices.
As you can see in the pictures, the bookcase is also marked by manufacturer.

Vintage Danish modular rosewood/palisander wall unit by Danish architect Kai Kristiansen for Feldballes Møbelfabrik, Denmark, 1960s.
Floating modular 3 bay shelving system model FM Reolsystem. This system consists of:

4 Aluminium uprights 200 cm.
1 Open book cabinet, 32 x 85.5 x 36 cm.
1 Shelf, depth 28 cm.
2 shelves, depth 24 cm.
10 Shelves, depth 18 cm.
4 original FM rosewood bookends.

Each section is 86 cm wide. All elements can be placed as desired. Easy mounting with hidden brackets that fit into the grooves on the slats. When slats are hanged, no tools are required for placing shelves.

Shelves with beautiful and expressive grain pattern.

A classic Danish piece of Mid-Century Modern design, based on the brilliant idea of a flexible bookcase that can be continuously adapted to suit current needs. Elegant and versatile.
