Very pretty small vintage Japanese Ukiyo-e reproduction print depicting a Young Lady with Umbrella on a snowy day. Sealed. Mounted on a heavier board of paper with gold edge showing some age wear. Later mounted on the black board and covered with acrylic glass. Painted gold bamboo style wood frame. Paper, wire hanger and label on back. Japan, Shōwa Era, circa mid of the XX century. Excellent condition – some edge wear on the print, minor age wear on the frame.

A beautiful tropical bird print in a British Colonial Style. The frame around the canvas is about 5” wide with a satin shagreen texture. The canvas size is 17.25” x 22.25”. The vibrant colors and professional detail
on this image look like an original, though a print.

Pair of two oval Georgian miniature portrait reproductions mounted on ornate gilded wood plaques with burgundy red velvet mats. Prints are protected behind convex bubble glass. Priced and sold as a set.

One portrait depicts Baroness Von Kruder, who was originally painted by Joseph Karl Stieler in 1828. Joseph Stieler was an artist for the German court and made many beautiful paintings of the women of the court.

The second portrait depicts Miss Rosamond Hester Elizabeth Croker, also known as Lady Barrow. She was the wife of Sir George Barrow and was originally painted by Sir Thomas Laurence in 1827.

There are no stickers on the back, but these appear to be early Cameo Creations reproductions from the 1940s. Later versions were made in cheaper plastic frames.

Woody Crumbo vintage serigraph ‘Spirit Horse’ depicts a bright blue horse with a white mane, tail, and spotted body. This Native American artist of the Potawatomi Tribe in Oaklahoma (1919-1989) painted horses in unusual colors to express the spirits of the animals. This was his most popular painting. Framed in a dark walnut-stained, ornately molded wooden frame behind glass.

A prolific artist, he studied at the Chilocco Indian Agricultural School, Wichita American Indian Institute, Wichita University, and the University of Oklahoma. He traveled the US as a Native American dancer, selling his artwork on these tours, and eventually became the Director of Art at the Bacone College in Muskogee, OK. He also curated a collection of Native American art at the Gilcrease Museum in Tulsa, OK, which adopted his ‘Peyote Bird’ painting as their logo.
