Vintage Design
An architectural, massive and rigorous tall pedestal table or side table (or even saddle) rectangular, Art-Deco, Modernist, Cubist, Constructivist, geometric structure, small rectangular base, square section axis, large rectangular rimmed top in oak veneer, in the spirit of Charles Dudouyt, to be attributed, France 1930.
We must emphasize the stretched, fine and elegant line of this small piece of furniture, which is paradoxically characterized by proportions that are as rigorous as they are massive. A characteristic piece of the purest modernist years, which already prefigures, through the sobriety of lines and materials, the creations of the Reconstruction to come.
