A Fine example of Ole Wanscher’s most iconic design: The Colonial Chair. Produced by Poul Jeppesen in Denmark c1950s in exquisite Brazilian rosewood with original woven rattan cane seat and feather cushions covered in cognac brown aniline leather.
The Colonial chair was Wanscher’s homage to American Colonial & Shaker furniture of the 18th & 19th century and remains one of the key pieces of Danish Modern design history.
