Vintage Design
Chest of drawers hand-made in Italy in the late 1700s using walnut and pegged construction. The dresser is very straight in lines and features three inset drawers with flat drawer fronts. The sides are made of flat, inset panels framed by flat molding. The top is composed of two boards with flat edges. The legs are tapered and still original to the piece.
Although this is a chest of drawer with really simple lines, it is still a very decorative piece because of its beautiful warm color and character given by age. The grain of the walnut give the dresser a deep milk chocolate color that will bring warmth to any room it is added. Its straight lines and color will allow it to look great with contemporary mid century modern as well as antique furniture.
