Fratino console table from the 1700s hand-made in Italy using walnut. The table has beautiful curvy lines given by the lyre legs that are balanced elegantly by the thick straight-edged top. The top is a fantastic 4cm (1.6 inches) thick single board or walnut with gorgeous grain and character given by the many years of use. The legs are hand-carved and very decorative as typical of the style and age. The bleaching process has also brought out the beautiful grey veins of the walnut and the alternation of alabaster and grey give a lot of depth to the piece.
This console table is a wonderful example craftsmanship and sense of style of the time and, although very old, it will still fit very well in a modern setting. The light color gives the table a contemporary and elegant look, and it will look great both as an entry table as well as console table, sofa table or also a writing desk, making this not only a beautiful and decorative table, but also a functional piece of furniture.
