Italian “Olinto” black lacquered wood bookcase by Kazuhide Takahama for B&B, Mid-Century, European. Kazuhide Takahama was born in Japan in 1930. He studied Architecture in Tokyo. He later started working in Kazuo Fuioka’s studio. In 1957, he came to Italy to visit the Triennale in Milan. There, he met Dino Gavina with whom he was to work for many years. His furniture features clean lines and formal restraint.
