Iconic low rocking stool with a maple top and base and chrome-plated steel rods, a 1954 Isamu Noguchi design for Knoll re-issued by Vitra in 2001. Intended as a collaboration between Vitra and Knoll, the distribution rights were assigned exclusively to Vitra just prior to roll-out. This example produced between 2001 and 2009, when the design was discontinued. In excellent original condition marred only by a few small edge chips to the wood. With nice figuring and a uniform warm tonality to the maple.
